What does it mean to rush for alpha Kappa Delta Phi?

Rush is a period of time in which individuals come out and get to know members of an organization. When rushing for alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc., you’ll be getting to know us on a more personal and social level as well as learning more about what our organization strives for as the only international Asian-interest sorority. During this period of time, all the events held by us will be free of charge as well as free of obligation. This is simply a time for you to have fun and get to know more about our sorority. Please keep in mind that you are not obligated to join aKDPhi if you decide to attend these events.

Will being in a sorority affect my grades?

Scholarship is one of the four pillars of alpha Kappa Delta Phi, and we strongly emphasize academic excellence. Being in a sorority teaches you about time management, and also teaches you how to be more professional. All sisters are required to maintain a certain GPA. On top of that, we are continuously motivating each other to perform well in school.

How long is the new member process?

The process depends on the new members and how well they perform together as a class.

What makes you different from other sororities?

alpha Kappa Delta Phi is the only Asian-interest sorority that is international. We are a proud partner of Avon Breast Cancer Crusade and have 51 chapters worldwide. We are recognized by the school and are continuously working with the school to take part in campus events. Although our sorority is so large, we continuously strive to connect with other chapters and our bond across the nation is impeccable.

How do I become a sister?
